For the correct submission of applications, it is necessary to make some configurations on the computer. These configurations are aimed at being able to carry out operations with electronic certificates, such as identification at the electronic office or the signature of the application:

Size of the documentation

This website allows the submission of documentation attached to an application; the maximum size for the sum of all documents is 512 MB.

Formats accepted by the electronic office

The website supports the following formats for submission of documentation: pdf, txt, doc, docx, odt, xls, xlsx, ods, tiff, jpg, bmp, pps, ppt, pptx, odp, zip, bz2, boz, bz, rar, gz, tgz, 7z.

Autofirma.

Autofirma is the electronic signature application developed by the Ministry of Finance and Public Administrations. Autofirma allows authentication and electronic signature at the electronic office in those browsers that have ceased to support the java components needed for these operations. As it can be executed from the browser, it allows the signature in Electronic Administration pages when the electronic signature is required in an administrative procedure.

Autofirma can be downloaded from the following link: http://firmaelectronica.gob.es/home/descargas.html. For its correct installation, it is recommended to close all internet browsers and run the installer as an administrator.

This electronic office uses, for the validation of certificates, the @firma platform of the General Administration of the State.

 The first time you access the electronic office, you need to install the certificate from altia.es. If you are also going to use DNIe to submit your application, it is necessary to install the DNI cryptographic module beforehand. For applications with a joint signature, only the DNIe may be used by one of the signatories. The rest (if not all) must do so by means of an approved certificate installed in the browser.

Note: 64-bit computers will need to start browsing with 32-bit Internet Explorer and install 32-bit java. For the correct functioning of the electronic office, it is necessary to enable javascript in the browser.


Java Virtual Machine Configuration

In the latest versions of Java, new options are activated that block the signature component, which prevents access to the forms. To unblock it and allow access to the forms, in the Java Control Panel, in the option Perform TLS certificate revocation checks, Server certificate only.


Habilitar JavaScript.
  • Internet Explorer

To enable javascript execution in your browser, you must configure the following settings.

  1. Open a browser and click on the Tools icon, then select the Internet Options.
  2. On the Security tab, click the Custom Level button.
  3. When the Security Settings - Internet Zone dialog appears, go to the Scripting section.
  4. In Active Scripting select Enable and then click OK.
  5. When the Attention asking window appears. Do you want to change the internet settings? select Yes.
  6. In the Internet Options window, click the OK button to close it.
  7. Click the Refresh button on your browser to refresh the page.

 

  • Mozilla Firefox

To enable javascript execution in your browser, you must configure the following settings.

  1. Open a browser window and enter the url: about:config and press Enter.
  2. Click the I'll be careful, I promise!
  3. Look for the javascript.enabled property.
  4. Right click on the property and select Modify.

To enable the execution of applets in the browser, you must make the following configuration.

  1. Open a browser and click on the Tools menu, then select the Internet Options.
  2. Select the Security tab and click the Custom Level button.
  3. Search for Java applet automation.
  4. Select the Enable radio button.
  5. Click OK to save your preferences.
  6. Reload the page.

To enable the execution of applets in the browser, you must make the following configuration.

  1. At the top of the browser, select the Firefox and Add-ons button.
  2. The add-on manager separator opens.
  3. In the add-on manager separator, select Plugins.
  4. Click the Java (TM) Platform plugin to select it.
  5. Reload the page.
Enable Pop-ups
  • Internet Explorer

To enable pop-up windows in your browser, you must configure the following.

  1. Open a browser and click on the Tools icon, then select the Internet Options.
  2. Select the Privacy tab.
  3. Click the Settings button in the Pop-up Blocker section.
  4. Include in the Web site address field that you want to allow the url: https://altia.es and click the Add button.
  5. Then click on the Close option and in the next window you will have to click on the OK button.
  6. Reload the page.

 

  • Mozilla Firefox

To enable the execution of applets in the browser, you must make the following configuration.

  1. At the top of the browser, select the Tools > Options button.
  2. Select Content.
  3. Click the Exceptions button in the Block pop-ups section.
  4. Include the url altia.es in the Web site address field and click the Allow button.
  5. Then click the Close button.
  6. Reload the page.

  1. Go to Control Panel > Java
  2. Click on the Security tab and lower the security level to the minimum (medium)
